I am currently building a new home and will need a driveway put in. Is there a certain amount of time I should wait to have driveway put in after house is completed? Also, what type of driveway would be the most durable & economical? Can you provide pros & cons of concrete vs. black tar?

There is no exact length of time to wait, however it does depend on whether the ground has been disturbed as far as the base material. A concrete drive looks nice is more durable and lasts longer if maintained properly. A black top driveway is less expensive and with proper maintenance will last. Also salt will not damage a black top driveway.
